I struggle with organising the thoughts in my head sometimes and end up wasting time on things that aren’t productive or enjoyable at all. Sometimes it is just a bit overwhelming with everything you think you should be doing, too much on the to do list, too many ideas, not sure where to start…until you try and go to sleep and then ALL the thoughts and ideas come at once.
Solution: write a list of things you can do consisting of things that either you really enjoy or very productive things that you like doing. There is only one rule nothing you don’t like doing or that doesn’t bring you joy afterwards.
Take some time to create a list, write it down or illustrate it and stick somewhere you can see it often. Mine took me an hour and I wasn’t too precious with the drawing, 90% was gel pen straight on to the card. I’ve stuck it to my fake desk (more on that another time) and it has already inspired me for tomorrow!
Helpful hint: Collect some things from around your home to help with the list. This is some of my collection and I have just realised I forget to add ‘go out for a coffee’ to my list. Doh!
