Weekly Notes: 14th June ’15

Domkirche St. Stephan Vienna

This week has been filled with very hot days, long walks, discovering new buildings, new food, reading, people watching and lots and lots of coffee.

Feet Cool Off

Taking every opportunity to relax and cool off a little.

Impressive Monument

The past couple of weeks I have read quite a few books including:

A Study in Scarlet and The Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle – loved! How to Build a Girl by Caitlin Moran – listened to on Audible, it was good. My Dearest Father, collection of letters between Wolfgang Mozart and his father – interesting. Sinbad the Sailor by unknown author – ok, very religious based but great use of imagination.

We hung out inside the Museum Quarter (MQ), it is one of our favourite places here so far. A couple of days we walked a long way. Ate the most delicious tortilla pizza, I tried steak tartare for the first time, we finally tried Wiener schnitzel (at Mozart Cafe) and it was accompanied by the most delicious potato salad.
